What a reshuffle means
Heatseeker updates as options positioning changes. Accumulation can strengthen a node, dissipation can weaken it, and rapid repositioning can rebuild the map around new strikes.
The practical consequence is simple: a level is not permanent because you drew a line. The data underneath it can change after price movement, volatility events, new flow, or contracts rolling.
Events that can destabilise the map
Reshuffles can happen during normal trading, but certain conditions deserve extra caution.
The correct response is to pause
When a major node disappears or migrates, stop defending the old story. Mark the new King and Gatekeeper Nodes, compare the related indices, and wait for the revised structure to stabilise.
A good invalidation process separates “my timing was wrong” from “the market structure changed.” A reshuffle often means the second one.
